Dr. Torres’ current focus is on evaluating production practices that optimize plant yield and quality while minimizing the negative impacts of abiotic stressors. His research currently emphasizes water and nutrient management, cultural practices for vegetables, soil fumigation techniques, and the integration of precision agriculture in vegetable production, both in open field and protected environments.
